Tope, rooftop taqueria bar

 A rooftop taqueria and cocktail bar with locations in Portland, Barcelona and Brussels. Each site features a bold, location-specific colour palette — creating a lively, informal atmosphere that embraces the vibrancy of Mexican food and culture.

The identity takes its cue from the meaning of Tope — “bumps ahead” — referencing the hand-painted road signs found across Mexico. This influence comes through in the handcrafted logos and graphic shapes, giving the system a playful, made-by-hand feel.
